In light of Friday November 13 announcement that Huron Perth is advancing into the YELLOW-PROTECT level of the provincial COVID-19 response framework, please see attached letter advising our decision to suspend indoor and outdoors visits and absences effective immediately.
November 14, 2020
Dear Residents and families,
Yesterday Huron Perth Public Health announced our regions advancement into the YELLOW-PROTECT level of the provincial COVID-19 response framework.
Given the increased cases in Huron and Perth Counties, and based on recommendations from the Huron Perth Public Health’s Medical Officer of Health, Blue Water Rest Home will be ceasing all indoor and outdoor visits at the facility and suspending all non-medical short-stay and temporary absences effective immediately.
We thank the HPPH for their ongoing guidance and support to help us protect the health and wellbeing of our vulnerable residents from COVID-19. These decisions are not made lightly, and we understand the effects that they can have on everyone involved. We will continue to support our residents with virtual and window visits. To book a virtual visit, please email email@example.com .
We will continue to follow the recommended guidelines, precautions and protocols of our partners, the Huron Perth Public Health and the Ministry of Long Term care, so that we can continue to provide the safest environment possible for our residents.
We thank you for your ongoing support as we work together to stop the spread of COVID-19. If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
